Old School Games
« on: April 01, 2016, 09:53:27 AM »
Anyone remember or like playing the old DOS or shareware games? There are sites available where you can download free (abandonware) or shareware or paid games from the 80's and 90's! However, you need to use a program like DOSBox and learn to set it up for each game in order to make it work. I've found a site where you can download a client and it will run DOSBox and your selected game automatically for you! All you have to do is download their client and pay for the game. Most games are $5.99 or you can get a collection of, say 3, for $9.99.

I've tried it and it works great! You can even get some of the new games on the market and some that will be released soon! Just go to:

http://gog.com and download their client and choose your games! You don't need the client to play games you buy but it keeps them all organized and in one easy to find play. With one click your game will load and is ready to play!

If you don't see one of your favorites old games just click "Store" then "Browse Games" and use the search box.

I've downloaded a few of them over the the past few days. I've got some of these in my attic and just bought this earlier today since they will not work on now!
