I went to the doc's today about my blood pressure. He had put me on old medication a few weeks ago. The problem with it is that it makes me retain water and blow up...especially around me ankles and legs. So, he told me to help with it I need to get some compression stockings...you know like the old people wear.

So now I'm officially one of them!

That's actually not funny Steve, but a little humor doesn't hurt I guess. 

BTW, if you're talking about R/L... me and Kay want to know, "Why are you taking that med if it makes you retain and swell?" are there not others that would work better?

Well, I'm on several medications for it but it is helping with the BP very well. They also cut off one of the other meds that may also be helping to cause the swelling.

So, we'll see have to give it a few weeks to see how it goes. My biggest issue is that the swelling interferes with my job. I stand and walk a lot.

Getting rid of the stress at work and home would help a lot. But I'd have to find a new job making close to what I make now and also leave home (move out and find a new place to live by myself) to get rid of the majority of the stress.

Yea... if both swell that a most common sign of your heart retaining water , this I know I've had massive heart and lung failure. No joking around, The failure accrued after my heart could not hold or  handle any more fluid and it poor in to my lung and actually drowned in side and shut down, everything, this why I'm so screwed up now, I would see another doctor Pronto my Friend!

even 2 days before it happened, I was in the ER and they said nothing was wrong with with me.
After they drained all out, I was in coma for 4 days or so, Bad News, don't take a chance, I would want anyone to go through, I am very very lucky I pull though.

I recently got some swelling in the them both. took some antibiotics, begging the doc over the phone for, it that fixed and that's a fact and along with some beta blockers I had!

this is an infection, not just water, ! take good care!!!!!

Thanks, guys! I'm taking care. The problem come with the stress and hard work...not enough rest.
