I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

KitchenAid Mixer Attachments
« on: March 23, 2017, 09:16:35 AM »
I was on Amazon yesterday cause I lost my fine chopper plate for my food grinder attachment (for fine grinds) and put it on my wish list.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000UHN9PG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2B8V8URX9CVCU&coliid=I1KN2M75I457QG

Yeah, the shipping costs twice as much as the plate does!!!  :2funny:

But also have been thinking of buying the pasta sheet attachment:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ENK4W9M/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2B8V8URX9CVCU&coliid=ITWINV7S3KABK&psc=1

So, yesterday I put it on my wish list along with a pasta drying rack:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004UE7U/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2B8V8URX9CVCU&coliid=I26RSGU7AM1IP0

While I was doing that I wished they had an attachment that made macaroni and other shapes. Well, guess what I found today:

Kay loves her KitchenAid appliances! She has the Artisan blender and the UltraPower processor, but not any of the add-on attachments like the ones that you are showing.

So... are you gonna get them?  :disturbed:

Well, I definitely am getting the cutter for the grinder. Also, I am getting the pasta sheet attachment and a drying rack but think I'll get this one instead because it is rated better:

https://www.amazon.com/Bellemain-Large-Wood-Pasta-Drying/dp/B00N9CNT3G/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I already have a ravioli press like the one below along with a 30-40 year old manual pasta roller with a hand crank that still works very well:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002HWS79K/ref=psdc_289791_t3_B00004SPDW

But not sure about the Pasta Press but may get it anyways but not right away. LOL

https://www.amazon.com/KitchenAid-KSMPEXTA-Gourmet-Attachment-Interchangeable/dp/B01ENK4UV2/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1490356715&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=pasta+press&psc=1

EDIT: Bought the cutter, the rack above, the pasta roller and this book:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1592537324/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I already had a $75 gift card so I only paid $43.98!

Got my goods yesterday. The pasta roller is a bit heavier than I expected. Been reading up on it for when I'm ready to use it.

The book has tons of pasta making information including a lot of flavored pastas!
