I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

For me it's good for now, I'll wait to see what Bloc comes up with before changing anything.

Trying to sort out Illori's "Likes 1-5" Mod... on the install it throws errors for the Display.template.php file.

This is being caused by the "Say Thanks 1.3.3" Mod which has edits for the same locations in the file, so I went ahead and installed the Likes mod and it appears to work as expected until I try to manually do the edits to the Display.template.php file. After the edits are in place and the file is loaded to the server the forum returns a blank screen.  shocked003

Maybe I butchered the edits, so I'll give it another try later, but for now it seems to work OK without the edits.

Any ideas?

Seems like something is not edited properly or you can't use both mods at the same time. They may use the same or very similar coding somewhere which will make them conflict with each other.

There are still a few issues with that theme, I reported them some may get fixed in the next update? and the others with TP and mods, maybe not! But I think he maybe busy with another project.

For me to be honest working with the Smf is not as much fun as it use to be, and no matter how much I change things around..t does not please me. I 'm trying many PHP and CSS codes changes and no Joy! :(

That would be my guess too.  I tried Illori's like mod some time back, and it installed and worked nicely.  That said, on all my forums I try to keep the mods to a minimum, and would only install something if I thought it would hold the forum back without it, or if the forum was busy with loads of members I'd probably install it if they asked for such a feature.

Just makes maintaining the sites so much easier, and less problems.  My forums are not busy enough to warrant that hassle. ;)

I saw a guy asking for support a while back he must have had about a hundred and fifty mods installed.  shocked003

Yes and some don't even remove the old stuff, after updating or outdated stuff! Not to mention the mess it creates, in the DB tables. I use and test many, but never two of the same at a time.

Keeping the packages sorted, is very important in isolating issues and as mentioned, running smooth!

Maxx

It's for sure that I have way too many mods installed here and mods are moved in and out way too often... but I just like to tinker around with it.  laughing7

The Top Posters Block looks good Mick.

Maybe we should have some kind of generic avatar for the members who are not showing one?

Thanks there is a generic one, it's next to my name in that block.  The others are ones that supposed to be working, but are not working on your site. ;)

Did an edit on their profiles to show 'No avatar' and now they show the generic avatar.
