Topic: Drugs Suck!!!

Occasionally my Lyrica falls a bit short and my leg and feet pain jump up into the 8-9 range on the scale. When that happens (maybe a couple of times a month) I have a Schedule II narcotic as a backup and it works as expected, but there is a price to be paid! 

So... this morning I should be at the Y doing my workout, but instead I'm having to sit around in the house because I'm lightheaded and my equilibrium is all screwed up... no driving and no weight training. 


Oh well, maybe later today.

That's when Kay should be rubbing your legs and feet for you. hint, hint. LOL

Now is it the narcotic that's making you lightheaded and throwing off your equilibrium? And more importantly, is fun? Are you seeing things you shouldn't be seeing? LOL Hell, you get to put your feet up and relax...or at least fake it...

Very sorry for your condition, and it is wise to relax and take a break if you can.
narcotic medications can cause many unexpected side effects and I agree with Steve.

I can never get outside, except to go to VA and it's is hell to do that sometimes only once a year.

She did just that a short time ago. 

The drug effects are more of a nuisance than anything... no real fun involved. 

Thanks for the thoughts Maxx and sorry for your issues. In my case, I'm very blessed because while there is some aggravation involved, I'm not incapacitated and when an event like this happens it's only a matter of a few hours that I must take it easy. So, while my complaints are valid, they are not overly important when compared to the issues that many other folks struggle with.

Yes I''m at 26 prescription Drugs and several over the counter ones.. they want me to take others, but they make me very bad!   on 02, 24/7
