You did really good for your first try Darryl.

Sounds like the surgery deal was kind of rough!
I?m glad you are back to ?normal? now.

Ps? Here?s a helpful hint for first time or new posters like yourself:

When you wish to reply to something that someone else has posted you can do so in the same thread (Topic) where they originally posted their message.

In this case when you are replying to the welcome message that I posted for you in the Welcome Wagon you can/could reply as follows:

When you open and read a post that someone has made if you look up close to the top of the? message there is a ?reply? button (circled in red in the picture below) and if you click on it you will then be able to type your reply message into the window that opens up... just like you did this time, except that your reply will be posted directly below theirs, so that when the next person looks at the Topic (thread) they will see my original message and your reply as well? then, if they want to they can add their thoughts just below yours.
In other words? when Keith sees this conversation he could join in and give us his take on the whole situation!? ;D

j/k Darryl, hope you a feeling better man.
There is also a reply button at the bottom of the message.

In the picture I also circled in red the ?quote? button that you can use if your want to quote some or all of what is in my post.
As has been mentioned before, doing these posts and replies is a lot like email, but in this format more of us can join in the conversation.

Another thing that the forum software lets me do is to 'merge' two Topic's together, so in this case I simply merged your Topic that you had posted in the Family News & Events category with your welcome message that I had posted here in the Welcome Wagon (Your Topic from N&E is now the second post in this thread).
That way it all reads in an orderly manner and can be understood by someone who did not know that the two threads were connected if left the way it was before.

Hopefully this all makes sense... ken
