I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Arby's Triple Thick Brown Sugar Bacon BLT

It were good!  :eat:
... lots of bacon but, it was disappointing on the skimpy tomato and lettuce.

I give it 4 1/2 out of five stars.

I haven't been to Arby's in ages, mostly cause they only used to have roast beef. I don't eat it much.

That BLT looks like the bacon is very thick! I've been seeing the commercials for their new sandwiches.

Thick and tasty.
It has kind of a sweet flavor due to the brown sugar...  and me loves some brown sugar.  laughing7

LOL, I love carrot cake! I've been wanting to learn how to make mini cakes so there's not a whole cake sitting around waiting to be eaten. LOL

LOL, yeah I know I can make cupcakes but was talking about maybe 2-4 cupcakes or two cakes equal to the size of about 2 cupcakes each. Basically, it involves scaling down recipes so they would be for two people or two portions. I just have to get the math together.

I forgot to mention the roasted tomato soup I made last week. I cut up some tomatoes into quarters, sliced some onions and added some whole garlic cloves on a baking sheet drizzled with oil, salt and pepper. They roasted until they were browned them added to a pot with a bay leaf, chicken stock, basil, rosemary, and a dash each of worchestersire and apple cider vinegar. I simmered it for about 30 minutes then pureed it and add it back to the pot. I cooked it for about 10 minutes then added some cream and re-seasoned it.

While it was cooking, I made some "brown and serve" breakfast sausage then diced them small and added it to the soup. It was excellent!!!

I've been making garlic bread lately using roasted garlic and herbs mixed into a compound butter.

We had an evening with my Niece, Melissa, who lives locally. We went to an upscale Spanish restaurant and had a meal that was amazing!
More detail later in a separate post.

I'm making andouille stuffed ravioli filled with andouille sausage, onion, oven roasted red peppers, and fontina cheese. This will be served with a cream sauce with shallots, garlic, procuitto ham, parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh parsley and fresh sage. I'm almost done with the sauce and it tastes divine!!!

I'll make the ravioli later cause it doesn't take too long to make.

Kay sez it's hamburger and egg for supper tonight... she's not sure where that idea came from, but that's what it will be.  laughing7
