I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Do you have two computers? (or more?)
« on: November 15, 2017, 10:31:20 AM »
Do you have two (or more) computers? Do you ever get them mixed up?

This is a little embarrassing, but that's precisely what I've done this morning!  :-[

Now in my defense, both computers are not used every day... one is an older laptop that gets used  a few times a week and the other is an even older PC that's running Windows Vista and it will sometimes set for weeks without being turned on.
Each one has a password set for Windows log-on and I'm firing up both of them at the same time this morning, which happens very rarely. So, there I am trying to log-in on both and finding myself thrashing away at the keyboards and having no joy whatsoever!!!  :censored:

After several minutes of this frustrating and irritating routine I downloaded a password recovery utility, burned it to a DVD, popped the DVD into the old PC, but thought to retry the password one more time, only this time I said, "Maybe I should try the password that I'm using for the laptop."
And then...  :groan:

So, by now you're beginning to pickup on the confusion here!  :o

LOL! I used to have two PC's running at once but that was awhile back. Now, I only have one PC, a tablet, and a cell. Lealer has a lappy but that has a separate account and password.

Ron, if you still have access to the account used for it you may sitll be able to recover it. If it is an older PC there may be another way to do it. ;)

It's on the computers I use everyday..

I just have to ask for a new password to enter the Admin of the computer..or I could go into the files. Not to worried about it right now.

Don't Talk to me about PC's, mine decided to die on me Christmas day!!! PSU died, and I had to orders a new one.
Ordered the new one same day, got it yesterday. fitted it started up and had an error saying one or more of the connected devices was not working! so I have to go through each drive one by one to find the problem, it was one of the SATA leads was not plugged in right.. phew I nearly wet myself lol

all lit up

desktop screens

new PSU

So back on to the OP.
I have this PC, a laptop that I have turned in to a server, my cell, Lisa has her own laptop and cell, the TV is connected to the internet.

Good deal and I like the case...kind of looks like mine except I've never installed fans on the side yet. That may also be why it's collecting more dust.
