It may be released as early as today...if we all agree on it. ;)

I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Omron Max Power Relief TENS Electrotherapy Device
« on: January 22, 2018, 10:57:29 AM »
I think I have a pinched nerve...again!  :censored:

So, after discovering I used the last of the Advil, I figured I should use a heating pad. I know we have on but it's pretty old and I knew they had more modern ones available so I went to the local pharmacy and found this:

https://www.amazon.com/Omron-Power-Relief-TENS-Unit/dp/B00SVPNZXU

So far, it works pretty good! It doesn't use heat but a series a varied pulses, vibrations, and taps via two pads wired to a battery operated control. There are others types and brands available that do have wireless controllers. But this ones does have a belt clip attachment and a variety of settings. I can use this while at work, etc. but will use the heating pad for when I take  nap since the heat feels really good when I take a hot shower or under a nice warm blankey. LOL

Even IcyHot has one! But they have two models, one for back/hip pain and one for shoulder/arm pain. The brand I have works for almost all parts of your body except for the head and around the heart area...but will work with the neck. It comes with two reusable pads good for up to 50 times usage. And the do sell pads by them selves. I think I'll buy a pack of those too, if I decide to keep it. but the two pads that came with it should last me quite awhile.

There are also heating pads available with wireless controls and apps that can control them!

Yes, I highly suggest getting one of these! A young woman at my job said she uses one because she has chronic arthritis and her doctor recommended it. I'm going to try it on my knees and legs next cause they give me trouble sometimes walking on the concrete so much while at work.
