http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/I've been wanting an iPod for some time now, especially, since I've amassed a huge iTunes collection to go along with my huge CD collection. But, I've decided to spend the extra $$$ and get the touch version and I am VERY happy with it. I do want a few "extras" such as an extra long cable because the original one is pretty short. LOL
However, not only does it play music from iTunes and can convert Cd's, it can play videos and games as well as surf the net! There are thousands of apps that you can download for free or just a dollar or 2. I'm looking at Mark Bittman's "
How To Cook Everything" app. Yes, it is the same as the book (which I own BTW, lol) but has so much more.
I've been so impressed with all of the features that after a day of playing with it I'm just starting to listen to music finally.
Of course, Tina has been confiscating it from me at every turn since she wants one. Even Lealer and Brandon want in on it now. Luckily, it does have a password-protect feature to stop annoying family members from accessing it fully or just certain features.
I've downloaded a few apps already, a games and a few others like a wifi locator so I can connect to any nearby wifi when I'm out of the house.
