Black Friday Madness!

(1/2) > >>

Ken:
I don't do Black Friday.

But according to the Today Show millions of people will be out there this morning!  :yikes:

It seems that we've lost sight of the original intent of the Christmas Holiday season... we've taught ourselves that to be a real human you must spend $1000 on gifts, otherwise you're simply not a worthy person.

It's time we got back to basics and started giving each other plenty of hugs and kisses and a nice greeting card or two and then maybe... just maybe, give one person (NOT everyone in your calling circle) in your family one small gift, and if that gift was hand made by you then that's all the better.

Skhilled:
I don't do it either. Too much hassle to be one of the first 10 to get whatever they are selling. They only keep a limited amount and they sell out within the first 20-30 minutes.

Sport:
I do all my shopping Online...that's what Credit Cards are for!!!!

LoneWolf_53:
I'm pretty much with Sport on that one.

Half the time I go to an actual shop they never have what I want in stock anyway so my experiences online have been much less hassle as long as I do my research ahead of time.

Sport:
LW...I don't do crowds well; and standing in line...not for me ...I know what I want and I'll find it online, give a Card# and it's in my hands 3 days later
