Google servers are massive, and they have always tacked our every move.

Yup! I clear my caches, etc. at least once a week and also use the Facebook Containers extension.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/facebook-container/
I've also started using privacy browsers for important things like Brave, and Vivaldi (instead of Chrome) as well as privacy search engines such as Duck Duck Go.

In recent times I've been far too lax and lazy with my browsing habits, although I have stared to use IPVanish on a regular basis and that's good.
I'm gonna give both of those browsers a run... Brave I have used before, but the Vivaldi browser is a new one for me. And on the search apps, mine has always been Google, but Duck Duck Go might be a better way to go.

Vivaldi is based on Chrome but without all of Google's crap. ;) It also has a lot of very nice features. :)
EDIT: I use Namecheap's VPN "FastVPN" is what it is called now and it's cheaper and works well:
