BTW, Another All-Nighter!

(1/2) > >>

Ken:
Lately I'm having these all-nighters 2-3 nights a week, mostly because of my Chemo meds and Oxycodone.
The Chemo can keep me awake and the Oxy makes it worse if I take it late in the afternoon or in the evening. Tonight I tried to get away with taking an Oxy at about 9:00PM... bad move.  :censored:

Scrubmeister:
That sounds rough Ken.

Anything doctors can do to help?

Ken:
Not really any help for the issue, I'm already on a sleep med and I don't want to increase the dosage or change to something different.
I try not to whine overly much because I'm blessed to be able to get up every morning and live another day. Not to sound too morbid but I should have died back in 2013 when this all started, so my cup runneth over and again... I am blessed.

Family is my main focus these days and we've been able to have lots of visits with our Children, Grand-kids and Great-grans in these past 10 years with several gatherings planed for the upcoming months in this year, so life is good.

One running joke within our family is that we hope that they don't all show up at the same time because all told we have about 50 when you add up all the kids, g-kids and g-grans! Of course we would make it work if that were ever the case.  laughing7

Most women would love it if you're up all night... ;)

My cousin passed away last week and the funeral was on yesterday. They couldn't fit all of the people in there. They have 2 huge rooms at the parlor and both were filled. They also didn't have enough parking. They had to send about half of the cars to a church's parking lot the was 1-2 blocks away while others just had to park in the street! And hell no, I didn't go to the burial. It prolly would've taken an 45 mins - to an hour just to get there! LOL

Approximate that we have about 300 people in Maryland only, more or less. That's not counting here in Reading, Philly, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina. I have never met all of my family, it would impossible! LMAO

It's the same with us Steve! We have several Great-grand kids that we've yet to meet, some in Dallas TX and in NY state as well as Washington state.
My traveling days are pretty much over so the sad truth is that I may never get the chance to see them all in person, but lots of pix and video chats help keep those connections going.
