We're planning a road trip to see GrandMother Mallie!

So far Russ and Tyra are set to be part of the trip. Tyra is flying in Wednesday afternoon and then Russ and me are driving up on Thursday morning. Phil may also be with us, but I'm waiting on word for his plans so that's still an open question.

We made it!

We arrived in Marietta at about 5:30PM.
We came up a little early and will go back on Friday or Saturday so as to miss (hopefully) the bad weather that's coming.

Yeah, "supposed" to be about 20 inches or so between Friday and Saturday.

We're debating the weather thing now... the choices seem to be, leave this evening to avoid the storm, or wait until at least Saturday afternoon.

My vote is for waiting. :08:

I went outside and shoveled and it was about 3 inches after about 4-5 hours of snowing. The snow shower is supposed to last another 10 hours.

We made the return trip home early so as to avoid the storm and made it OK... I'll post more detail and the pictures later.
