AH! The Joys of Chemo!
« on: June 06, 2019, 11:14:36 AM »
Keep in mind that this is not me whining or complaining because as mentioned many times before I've been exceedingly blessed and lucky overall with my cancers and treatments.

So, you know the old saying, "What goes around comes around." Well over this past few days it's been coming around and slapping me upside the head!  laughing7

My chemo drug is rather strong and I feel the side effects pretty much all of the time, but now and then it catches up to my system and takes over my daily life with a vengeance and that's been my joy this past week. Imodium is helpful, but remaining close to the bathroom is an absolute must, so much of my days were spent in the bedroom including going back to bed at odd hours because the fatigue was so great that I could barely stand.  :o

It's getting better now but it was great fun for a while... last evening I was finally able to get back to writing more in my article series My Story Remembered. Didn't do much, but at least I was trying again.
