Title: Errors in Gallery
Post by: Ken on May 09, 2023, 11:49:02 AM
Just started getting some troubling error messages when trying to access the Gallery.  :censored:

Database Error
Expression #3 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'ourfamil_smf46.p.view' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by
File: /home/ourfamil/public_html/FamilyForum/Sources/Gallery2.php
Line: 699

Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 2.0.19, while your database is at version 2.0.12. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.

And this from the SMF error log:

Trying to uninstall the currently installed version of the SMF Gallery(9.0.1a) and it's throwing errors for some of the files:
Code: [Select]
6. Execute Modification ./Sources/Subs.php Test failed
1. Replace ./Sources/Subs.php Test successful
2. Replace ./Sources/Subs.php Test successful
3. Add Before ./Sources/Subs.php Test failed
* 7. Execute Modification ./Sources/ManagePermissions.php Test successful
8. Execute Modification ./Sources/PrettyUrls-Filters.php Skipping file
* 9. Execute Modification ./Sources/Load.php Test failed
1. Replace ./Sources/Load.php Test failed

Yeah, you've got some old mods that should be removed.

For the 'Test Failed' I'd simple uninstall all of the mods, make sure all of their files are gone (except for any images) then upload all new smf files. Well, 'IF" you are going to get rid of the old ones. If they don't have an upgrade for the mods you'll probably always have errors. So, either you can deal with the errors, etc. or get rid of the old ones.

BTW, SMF will tell you to just ignore the db upgrade error. :P

SMFHacks told me to just install the newer version on top of the old, currently installed version, and it worked out! Works good with no errors.  :thumbup:

Great! :) I thought the one you were using was no longer being updated.
