Over the next two weeks we will be doing a major software update to the forum and you will see changes from day to day and perhaps even experience some down time.

The folks that write the software that we use, Simple Machines Forum, are doing rewrites on an ongoing basis and release new versions several  times a year and this forces us to update from time to time. Currently we are about two revisions behind, so the move to the latest version must be made now in order to not fall so far behind that a total reload has to be done. A reload would increase the possibility of losing some of our data.

We are hopeful that all will go smoothly and disruptions will be kept to a minimum.

Almost all the prep work has been finished for the forum software update, so later this morning the actual upgrade process will begin. That means that you will see changes in the look and layout of the forum over the next several hours and times when the forum is not accessible at all.
