Topic: OXO Bamboo Cutting Board

I was getting tired of my lightweight cutting board which is made of plastic and it was starting to get a bit warped. I have a big heavy one but do not wish to use it for everyday use. So, I purchased this one Saturday:

It looks and feel very nice...although I haven't cut anything on it yet!  :funny:

The instructions say to oil it with mineral oil (not vegetable oil which can go rancid!) every day or every other day for a week during first use. I prefer to oil it for a week then use it. 

I will then oil it once a week for a month while using it and then once per month thereafter. I'll let you know this weekend how well I like it when I use it then with my newly sharpened knives that I've sharpened myself!  :bigteeth1: You can read about that here:
