@Skhilled

Steve I'm trying to access phpMyAdmin to look at the tables and find out if the tables are still there for an old TP module, (TPReviews) and it's hanging up on the phpMyAdmin 'home' page. I thrashed around a bit but was unable to solve the problem.

Here's an image of what it looks like.

I just noticed that it changed the titlebg's for the blocks to the default that TP uses (Curves) and not what the theme on this site uses. Look <---

I hadn't noticed until you pointed it out Steve.  Seems it was only from the recent topics down that were showing the wrong titlebg's.   I'll be honest and say I haven't a clue if they were like that before the TP update.   I've never seen a update do this either, not on any of my sites or test sites.  :o

I changed it for you Ken, in the TP panels section, it's  easier than doing each block individually.

Thanks Mick.
BTW... it was showing from the recent topics down was because I had changed to ShoutBox titlebg already.  :azn:

I was gonna say they were all like that when I noticed them. I didn't change them cause I wanted you guys to see it in case you needed to figure out what the problem was.

Should this be something for us to look at?

Finally updated my site... a bit late to the game.  :-[
Uninstalled TinyPortal 1.3R and updated to TinyPortal 1.5.0

Looks good Ken.  Though I got this error when first visiting.  I still think there's some sort of strange redirect going on.

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /FamilyForum/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

sounds like mod_security is acting up. it should be disabled.

Sorry, I forgot about this. I might have to add a custom php.ini and disable it or do it on the server.

EDIT: Ken, I've enabled the icon for it in your cPanel account. I've disabled mod_security for your account. But for future reference, should you wish to turn it back on, log into cPanel and go to the Security block and click the icon. When you disable it you'll see the following message because it is a security feature:

"Warning: ModSecurity is disabled for one or more of your domains. Only disable ModSecurity while you troubleshoot a problem with your configuration. Without ModSecurity enabled, your domains lose the extra layer of protection that the module provides."

Added a new board; PC and Console Gaming.

It's a child board under Chit Chat & Humor for now... maybe needs to be somewhere else?

Had to fix the custom 404 error page.
Back on 2/11/14 this reply/post from 'ets' helped me correct the custom 404 page improperly displaying. Pretty much the same fix was required this time.

Hi Ken,
No, that's not correct. You should have this:
ErrorDocument 404 /FamilyForum/index.php?page=208

Here's my original post that details his answer:
@Skhilled

Steve, this information may be needed for you to correctly set your 404 redirect.

I posted on the Google 'Webmaster' support forums and was told that my code was wrong and should be as follows:

Quote
Hi Ken,

No, that's not correct. You should have this:

ErrorDocument 404 /FamilyForum/index.php?page=208

(You're mixing up a 301 redirect with the ErrorDocument directive.)

Also you must not include the full URL in an ErrorDocument directive or you won't get the all-important 404 status code: it will do a 302 redirect instead (which is what it does right now), which will screw your site up.

Modify as I've suggested and then check the HTTP headers to ensure it's sending a 404 code as well as serving up the 404 page:

Check the headers with one of these tools...
Live http headers (a Firefox browser addon_: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/live-http-headers/
Rex Swain's http viewer: http://www.rexswain.com/httpview.html
Web sniffer: http://web-sniffer.net/

After making the change to my .htaccess file the error page call works as it should. (the support helper had me run a check to see how Google was reading the page call)
