The siding crew is now working on the second story and their ladder system is a bit worrisome. In the one pix you can see one of the guys trimming in a window and his helper standing on the ground... he, the helper, fell off the roof earlier, so it's good that the ground is soft from all the rain we've been getting.

They still have a lot to do, especially on the other side of the house.

And... Here's some more ladder/scaffolding excitement! Notice in the first pix how they have an extension ladder laying on the lower roof with a rope at each end that is screwed into the wall and then a step ladder placed inside the extension ladder.

We are sooo happy to have all the construction completed and over with! We have a few small details left to and I will do those myself... 'cause that's just the kind of guy I am!  laughing7 A normal human would likely be able to do all these small chores in an afternoon, but for me it will take a few days and that's OK. I've already aligned our security cameras, the crew even installed one upside down, thus my rational for wanting some of these details myself!

More pix of the finished house will be forthcoming, maybe later today.
BTW... one chore that I hopefully will not need to do myself is painting the garage doors and the wooden windows, a lady is coming tomorrow to give us an estimate and hopefully we can afford to have her that chore.

Bit of an update here:
After installing new metal on the house roof and new vinyl siding all around the garage roof was just looking too sad, so we had the crew come out and do the garage as well.
