Title: Creative Compound Butters
Post by: Skhilled on May 30, 2019, 10:06:55 AM
I love compound butters which are a mixtures of herbs and/or various ingredients with room temperature butter and slathered on breads, mixed in soups, stews, gravies, etc. Here's a few unique ones I found in a link in the the June/July 2019 issue of fine Cooking magazine although they are from the October/November 2015 Issue.  :eat:

My personal fav I've been making for years is using roasted garlic, fresh herbs, salt, pepper slathered on fresh French or Italian bread and put under a broiler just until the bread toasts a little. Sometimes, I melt some cheese(s) on top. ;)

The one that tickles my fancy is the Taleggio and Garlic Confit Butter. (http://)

You should try oatmeal cookies with dried cranberries instead of raisins. Those are my fav!
