New FF Theme?
« on: August 08, 2010, 05:36:25 PM »
I don't really care for the current default FF theme as much any more and have been thinking that it's time for a change... yes, I do get bored rather easily.  :belly:

Anyways... here is the one I'm thinking about, any comments are welcome???

I haven't made any edits to it yet, except for the 'main_block.png' image. Kay was not thrilled with the olive drab colors that were standard with the theme so I copied over the Calliope bg colors.  :bigteeth:

Made the switch to 'Pandora design by BlocWeb.'  :bigteeth:

As always, if you have another theme that you prefer you can reset your permanent choice in the Theme Block.

Having some issues with the Users Online Today mod and the Tidy Childboards mod... one of them is causing the board links to throw error pages. (most likely Users Online I think)

Had to do the edits manually, but did them wrong, or something.  :08:

Fixed for now be reverting to the original files, BoardIndex.Template.php and MessageIndex.Template.php.

All of the "Demos" links for the themes at BlocWeb only show the Argentum theme and not the themes shown over the links.

Not sure why it is doing that, but it may be because this Pandora is one of his premium themes.

Files:

The two template files are the ones from the theme that get the edits and the third and fourth are the XML files from the two mods.

As mentioned, I think my edits for the Users Online were OK, so those will go back in shortly and once that is working correctly I'll try to get the Tidy Childboards right.

The Users Online Today is back in and seems to be working OK with no errors.
BTW... this mod is set to show the users for the past 24 hours and not 'this day', so that's why when you hover over a members name it sometimes them as being here yesterday.

It would appear that the edits are correct this time, everything seems to work OK with no errors.  :hah:

The child boards are lined up in orderly lists:

And, the 'Users Logged In Today' show as desired:

Both mods are nice, I tend to get a little carried away with installing mods... creates some issues sometimes.  :up2some:
