Yes, the power tools company does make UBS cables! I went to Lowe's Hardware (also sold at other retailers like Home Depot) looking for a UBS cable for my tablet cause the shielding was starting to break. I remembered seeing them there and it was easier and faster going there (not far away) than ordering it online. They had a display near the entrance for UBS cables but none of the type I needed. A nice saleswoman pointed me to the DeWalt ones. I've never heard of those before and was intrigued!
DeWalt is a great brand name so I was very interested in what I'd find. I was NOT disappointed!!! Their cables are braided and shielded...and very tough!!! They also have a permanently attached velcro strip so you can gather up the cable so it doesn't hang or get in the way of things. So, I bought one and , so far, am VERY pleased with it!!!

I need to get more for my other devices! I'm sure they will last me a VERY LONG time!

Home Depot prices look a little better online.

They might be... Lowe's is pretty close to me so I just happened to go there. I might get a 2nd set just for the car.
