Title: Kraft Cheese Slice Recall

Those affected have a "best when used by" date between December 29, 2015, and January 4, 2016, followed by the manufacturing code  "S54" or "S55."

The one in my fridge has that date but not the SXX code, thankfully.

Yeah, but I've noticed that the wrapper doesn't always come off cleanly many times over the years. People also need to be careful of what the put in their mouths. ;)
