Got this a few days ago and so far am very happy with it...although I've only used it once! LMAO I needed a steel/metal 12 inch deep pan with a lid that sears well and is not nonstick. My old pan that lasted for many years sprouted a leak at the seam near the bottom. I guess the welding finally gave out.
Pans like these have even heat distribution and great searing! They are a tad heavy but not as heavy as a cast iron pan. I've always advocated using pans, etc. from restaurant supply stores. I've bought a lot of things from the supply stores and can't remember not being happy with anything. And even though I had it on med-high heat the bottom of the pan was still nice and shiny! It's also easy to clean! This one comes with a lid but you can get them without and the price is a lot cheaper than buying a consumer great pan and will defo last a lot longer!
