It's currently 26° which is warm as far as the rest of the week went. We were in the single digits since last weekend!

New Privacy Based Browsers

LibreWolf - I've been playing with this a little bit and it seems to work nicely! :) It's a fork of Firefox.

Here's two others that I've found today...

Waterfox - another Firefox fork:

Floorp - the same. LOL

Those sound promising. The LibreWolf shows DuckDuckGo as it's default search tool and that's good. I use DuckDuckGo in FireFox, but you have to reset it from time to time when FF switches it back.

DuckDuckGo also has a browser AND when you watch YouTube vids in it you can disable all ads!!!   :D :D :D

https://duckduckgo.com/

They also have an privacy email service that I've been using for over a year now! It's great at removing trackers!!!

Ummm Ummm Ummm! I need to start paying more attention!

I didn't know about the email feature. I do have the DDG browser install but haven't used it much, but the email client sounds like something that deserves a better look.

BTW: LibreWolf is now installed and is being used for this posting.  :)

Done!
Now there will need to be some practice on how to get the best use from this email and browser.

I've been using duck.com email for almost a year now. It will remove, most, if not all trackers. You do need to use it with an email service, free or paid. I currently have ZohoMail's free plan. The free plan link is near the bottom of the page:

https://www.zoho.com/mail/zohomail-pricing.html

I also have Proton Mail's Plus plan which is paid but they also have a free plan:

https://proton.me/support/proton-plans

Both are very good options. But, Proton will also give you aliases which means that you can use ken@rotonmail.com as a mail address and maybe gasbill37554@protonmail.com just for your gas bill so you can keep everything separate. Another great option is Proton Pass which is a password vault. It's very good. All of Proton's features will sync across all of your devices. ;

I should add that you can use any domain name with Zoho or Proton and they recommend that you get one just for that. But, I'm loving my duck.com email. I haven't got any spam since I've been using it.

Here's more info on Proton's aliases:

https://proton.me/blog/hide-my-email-aliases

BTW, they just bought Simple Login recently which upgraded their aliases. Simple Login is an alias service ;) So, you can actually you both services! :
