I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Vancouver, NYC, Marietta & Beyond.
« on: August 13, 2006, 07:22:01 PM »

As part of the celebration for Lindsay finishing up with her High School years and graduating and now getting ready to go off to get her college degree she, along with her Mom Shelly, Dad James (Kenny) and Sisters Whitney & Kristina are headed for the Big Apple during the last couple of weeks of this month. During their stay in NYC they will take the three hour drive down to Marietta to see Great-GrandMother Mallie and that?s where I get to join in!

As this is posted our plans are still somewhat fluid, so updates will follow, but for now the target dates are between 8/23-29/06 and for now it looks like GrandMa Kay will not be able to go because she?s working during the weekend that falls in those dates.

This is going to be great! We should have lots of pictures and stories to tell. ;D
More later? g-pa Ken

Our travel dates have been firmed up now!
On 8/27/06 I?ll be coming up from Tobaccoville to G-GrandMothers home in Marietta and then Lindsay, her Mom, Dad and Sisters will arrive the next morning.
Lindsay & family will be there two days and I will do three days.

This is going to be great! We will have lots of pictures and stories to post as the events unfold.
...didn't I say that already??? That's OK, 'cause it's worth saying twice!
Stay tuned?  ;D

Ps: Tyra, Sherman & their girls are trying to work something out for the same dates, let?s all hope that they can put it together.

Lindsay & Company should be well into their adventure at this point, hopefully we will hear from them after they touch down in NYC and then we can start posting some details about the Big Apple.  ;)

Tyra tells me that she won?t be able to come and bring her family, because Brooke & Bianca have school starting Thursday, plus Brooke has a big ?Gus Macker? 3-on-3 Tournament  scheduled for this weekend.
We will miss them of course, but we will still have great fun!

What an exciting time !  Ken is here and Kenny and his family is coming tomorrow.  I miss Kay real bad but I'm hoping she will come sometime soon.  What a wonderful family I have.  I'm glad that Ken made photos of Yvonne's nanner puddin.  Mallie

We enjoyed a night out Monday evening that included a great adventure doing a search for Wal-Mart and we found it after a time, but the quick photo developing was closed, ah well.

Then there was the really nice dinner at Macaroni Grill where our waiter was very attentive and even sang an Italian Aria for us, of course we are not too sure if it was for all of us because he seemed focused on Whitney all the while!  :slaugh:

You can see lots more photo's in the Pictures Gallery
