I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

[R.I.P.] Carol Hall (JPDeni)
« on: May 09, 2011, 07:35:46 AM »

We've learned that one of our FamilyForum members, JPDeni, has died.
Carol has been a long time friend and associate to me and others here on the FF and we will miss her greatly.

Several months back Carol withdrew from being active in the TinyPortal support site that so many of us participate in and we later learned that the reason was that Carol had developed liver cancer.

... this from the Seattle Times
Quote
Carol "Deni" HALL October 22, 1951 to May 2, 2011

Carol "Deni" Hall was born on October 22, 1951 to Bruce and Eloise Thatcher in Wichita Kansas, she passed away on  in Renton, Washington after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter "Nicki" and her father Bruce. She is survived by her loving mother Eloise, her brother Danny and her devoted husband.

Some of Carols links:
http://www.morethanspike.com/ ... this is a 'Fan Site' that Carol developed for the actor James Marsters, she had put in great time and effort into this really nice site.
http://www.jpdeni.com/dbman/jpd.html this is one of her coding sites and you can find a great drawing of Carol on that page.

OMG! I had no idea! I did wonder why she wasn't around anymore. She was always so helpful to everyone. She will be missed! Prayers are coming for her family.

Hmmm, I thought she was a lot younger than that...

Early today (3:05AM) someone logged into the FamilyForum using Carols ID.

It is surely one of her family members so I'm not worried, but instead thinking that maybe I should reach out to them with a PM or email to see if they want to post some message or some other kind of communication.

Sounds like a good idea. :)

They might be trying to find out more about what she did on the net and maybe who her friends were.

What's the error for???

An idea just came to me. Maybe create a special member group for those who have passed on. If someone reads a post they've made they can see that the person has passed on. Maybe a "R.I.P" named member group or something similar?

I'll be this will catch on with other forums.  :bigteeth:

Sounds like an idea Steve... we'll need to work out some of the details and then go ahead and set it up.
