Themes and the ease of viewing the FamilyForum
« on: September 06, 2009, 12:51:32 PM »
Some questions have come up with 'Pegasus', our most recent theme or skin for the FamilyForum.

It seems that some members have had issues with being able to read the text and links, especially when using Microsoft's Internet Explorer... the theme seems to not show very well in that browser and because so many people use IE it seems only prudent that we should remove the theme as the default for the FamilyForum. You can still access and use it through the theme changer if you would like to continue the Pegasus theme.

If Bloc, the theme designer, should release an updated version we may try running it again at some later date, but for now we'll be using another one of his great themes called VirtualCell.
I've always liked this one a lot.

Ps: Internet Explorer is just plain Junk!  Everybody should use the FireFox Browser!
... yes I do know that opinions are a dime a dozen and that everyone has at least one.  :08:

... here's a quote of my comments about IE on the TinyPortal software forum:

IE totally Sux!!!
I hate having to continually alter, change or rewrite just so the crappy IE browser can 'see' something... just had to do about an hours work to some already existing content because IE was not able to see or use said content.. FF had no such problem of course.  :bigthumb:

Even in FF..to me, the text was very small.
