Time Stamp Test.
« on: March 03, 2010, 07:15:31 PM »
This is just a test.  :up2some:

I'm working on the blogs to see why the displayed time is not offsetting correctly.

@Burgundyrose:

In checking the time offsets for the forum and the blogs they are matching up for me... could you please check your time on a reply here to see if it will match your local time?
In your profile it shows a -3 offset and that should be correct I think, but maybe not, it might need to be +3.

Thanks

@ Ken, I noticed the dates are off because the little calendar on the right shows that it starts on sat not sun, and the monthly dates are off by one day. Today is wednesday the 3rd, not Tuesday the 3rd.

OK, confirmed.

I'm working on that.  :bigthumb:
The issue has been posted to the PMxBlog support forum, hopefully an answer will be posted in the next day or so.

Getting closer.  :bigthumb:

These are the edits that are supposed to fix the issue:
In the file Themes/default/PmxBlogHeader.template.php at line 228 you find
Code: [Select]
$first_day = !empty($options['calendar_start_day']) ? $options['calendar_start_day'] : 0;
change that to
Code: [Select]
$first_day = 0;
if that not passed, you have to test with 1 or other value

As seen in the screen shot below, the start day for the blog calendar is now Su, same as the forum calendar.
However, it still shows as 'We 4th', instead of 'Th 4th' that should be displayed, so there is at least one more edit to be made and I'm waiting for word on what that edit might be.  :08:

It looks to me from looking over my posts that it is 3 hours behind.  When my pc said 10:30 pm, it said 7:30 pm. I hope that makes sense. Thanks.  Oh, all my forum posts come up with the correct time, it's just the blogs that seem to be off.

Thanks for checking Margaret.

My forum and blog times are right, it's just the day of the week that's off... it's showing Thursday 5th instead of Friday 5th.

I'm still waiting for a fix for the day of the week error, once that's fixed we can take a look at your time offset if it's still there.
