I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

It's working.  laughing7

Nice one Ken. :8  You might want to adjust the settings to make the thumbs when clicked go to the intermediate pics.  Tis your call though. ;)

Sorry Ken, not sure what you mean mate.  If you take a look at a image in my gallery http://cameracraniums.com/gallery/

And just to note, I'm not talking about the slider.  If you click on one of the thumbnail images further down the page you'll see it goes to intermediate, so you see all the info, able to comment etc.  Clicking the intermediate brings up the image in enlargeit.

In your case clicking a thumb only opens it in enlargeit, and you can't comment or see info.  It skips the intermediate image in other words.

Hope that made sense. lol..

Ah, your albums open as a film strip but mine dose not.
Thrashing around in the settings for "EnlargeIt!" and for "Config/Image View" and so far the film strip view in the albums is not forthcoming.  shocked028

oops sorry Ken.  I've set your gallery so you can see the intermediate with filmstrip.  But when I told you what plugins I was using I forgot one  :-[  This one I use to give the lightbox effect when you click on those intermediates, plus it gives that neat slideshow  http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,62905.0.html

Edit: Forgot to say, this one will probably need to be FTP'd to your plugins directory.  Just unzip it, open the folder and upload the next folder containing all the files to your plugins directory. Then install it.

Enjoy. :)

OK, gonna work on that now.

Then, I need to read up on CPG Fetch to see how to edit the files for it.

Yeah, Joe has a couple of sites using it, it's a plugin that he put together. It's here if you want to give it a go. http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,62561.0.html

It's not one of my favourites tbh, I did use it for a while but settled for what I have now, especially as with a little work you can add the one I use to a block.   I'd like t make a really neat slider when I get some time to try it.

I'll stick with what we have now for some time... maybe revisit that option at some time in the future.

If you don't see anything else that needs attention I'm going to start working on the cpgfetch option. I want to build some kind of slideshow for the front page, similar to the one you built for TP, with the images based on, or linked to the images that we have in the gallery.

Cool, be interested to see what you come up with slider wise, I've not been too successful in the past.  The slider you have in the top of the gallery you can also put in a TP block, with an additional file, but its not very flashy I'll admit.  ;)

Did you originally have the Coppermine bridged with SMF? if so what made you un-bridge it.  (I'm guessing it was the introduction of SMF Gallery pro), just curious.

Yes on the bridge and Gallery Pro question.
In the earlier years I played around with lots of gallery programs including CPG, SMF Gallery Pro and Gallery2. After trying all those options I settled on G-Pro because the staff at cpg at that time were so difficult to deal with... they used the karma system like a 10# sledge hammer.  laughing7

So, after my delightful [/sarcasm] year off, when I started too rebuild the site I tried CPG again because I've always liked it and there were rumors that they now have some staff members who are just wonderful.  wink1
But, eventually I returned to G-Pro because I like it a little better than CPG

For starters I'm going to take a closer look at the slideshow that you built for TP to see if it will work here... may also do a bit of a Google search to see what I can find.

I think I know why you like G-Pro, it comes down to integration, G-Pro is integrated, looks like it's part of the forum whatever theme etc.  Coppermine isn't, and it's a freaking nightmare to integrate in a visual way.  Plus it's so frustratingly old fashioned.  Shame, because it has really powerful features.

Hoping CPG 1.6.x will be better.

You pretty much nailed it.
My earlier attempts at using cpg were very illustrating frustrating because my skills were so meager and as you say G-Pro was so much easier to make a part of the forum. And then, the navigation to and in the gallery was so much easier.
For me Gallery2 held out great promise because I really liked to 'look and feel' of it, but it to was very difficult for the casual user.
