I guess my last post didn't take...

I was going to say maybe it wasn't that block cause the site still does it at times. The gallery block is called Gallery in the lower blocks. But I've got the tpadmin page loading now for about a minute. It shows the page but you can see the load bar in the browser tab taking it's sweet time to get across the tab.

Does the site load slowly for you guys too? Click the "Forum" menu item. If it loads quickly try it a few more times. Also try it in other areas of the site.

All seems pretty quick to me Steve. Been clicking all over the place and hasn't played up yet.  If I spot something I'll post back. ;)

I was just wondering if it was something on my end and may be. Other sites do not do this but this one does.

Could be.. though this site might do it for me if I try it at random intervals.  My own sites sometimes do this to me, and there's no real reason that I can find, other than my host playing up.  All my stuff is on shared servers.  :whistle1:

That is what I was thinking. there's only 256gb of memory allocated so that may be an issue by itself.

I've tried to get Ken to get new hosting but he sticks with this one.

Yeah, I've kind of stuck with this one, mostly because of the pricing. It would be nice to have enough speed and space and that should not cost all that much, especially so with a small site like this one.

We've only had a few (5?) hosts since we started our original site back in the nineties, guess that means that I'm slow to change some things.  laughing7

Any good suggestions?

BTW, I'm getting slow page loads as well.

I was using Firefox but Chrome seems to be much faster.

On another note, I had issues access my backups in cPanel on my hosting and they told me it was a Firefox issue. Chrome worked perfectly. But they gave me a fix for it and now it works. Lately, I've been considering switching to Chrome. But on my tablet, FF works better than Chrome but not my PC! Go figure...

I've played with Chrome a little, but have stuck with FF for years... another thing that I'm slow to change.

I found some more minor issues with the latest TP, just version info in the package manager and when you install / uninstall showing the wrong versions. Nothing to worry about.  So there'll be another zip along shortly, as soon as block has added it to the repo.

No need to replace the version installed here, as it will make no difference at all. ;)

Now you know how me loves to install stuff, even if it don't do anything.
