5.9 Earthquake Along East Coast
« on: August 23, 2011, 02:52:32 PM »
The epicenter was in Virginia but the shock was felt from Conn and Mass all the way to North Carolina! I hope everyone is safe!

I was sleeping and it woke me up and felt like someone was at the foot of the bed shaking it. Then I could feel the whole house shaking as if a giant was outside shaking the house. I was on the 2nd floor and could hear the 3rd floor shaking back and forth!

So far, no injuries or damage has been reported.

This is considered a minor quake but cell phone services were jammed! For as much money as you pay per month people should be very angry about this. What if it was a lot worse?
