It may be released as early as today...if we all agree on it. ;)

I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Glad it's updated to PHP 7.4 but SMF is only updated to work with 7.2 so far, right? The coding may change later, right?

Thing is TP runs on both SMF 2.0 and 2.1 And PHP7.4 is already out there, we're just trying to keep it up and ready.

TP 1.6.6
So lately, we've had some issues with the site with slow-loading pages and lots of error pages. We are thinking that it might be that we have some kind problem with the forum software and Skhilled reminded me that TinyPortal had just made a Security Release (TP 1.6.6) and that lurkalot suggested that we give it a shot... and so we will.

I install this on a test site using SMF 2.0.17 and noticed a few minor cosmetic flaws in the admin. I'll gather a list of them when I get the time.

These images and observations are from a test site I've created with no other mods or themes installed.

1.  TPShout option is not aligned in Frontpage Settings page:

2.  Titlebg's have white showing around the border radius:

3.  Menu items vertically on the left and horizontally across the top of TP settings pages are not consistent. For instance, the Blocks and Panels section on the left has Panels, Blocks, Block Access...in that order. The menu across the top is not in the same order:

4. Same for the Articles section. It tricks the eyes as you would normally read left to right, unless you live in a country that reads right to left. Either way, it's inconsistent and may trick those who are not used to TP. This is something that has bothered me for a long time but I never knew why until now. LOL

Some good catch's there, are you going to post any of this over on TP? I started to quote your reply and post it over there, but it might be better if you did.  ;)

EDIT: I never noticed these menu and alignment issues before, but now that you've pointed them out, they just glare out at me!  laughing7

I posted it over there but now see there's v1.6.7! LMAO Back to the drawing board...

Now TP is having server issues. When I first tried to load the site I got a "Service Unavailable". I refreshed then while reading some of the topic just awhile later I got a server "Timed Out". Seems to be ok now. Was only me and Tino logged in at the time and about 75 guests.

Steve, TP 1.6.7 is only a bugfix for something introduced by 1.6.6 nothing serious, apart from that you'll still see those cosmetic issues in that as well.  As mentioned we're not really doing much to 1.6.x series now, other than security fixes. (although it said bug fixes).  Concentrating on TP 2.0.0 now and trying to get that ready.

Server issues, yes that's something I've noticed for a while now, and must get onto Liroy and find out why.  It went through a faze of doing this a few months ago, but seemed to settle down after I changed the cache settings.

Thanks for the report though, they will get the attention they deserve in TP 2.0.0 because it will look the same atm. ;)

Yeah, SMF 2.0 caching sucks! I clear the cache once per week on my sites and here. If you don't the sites run slow. I haven' tested the caching on 2.1 enough just yet, tho...

Not even going to talk about Liroy...been there before back with TP Hosting. Will never recommend nor use him again. Not a very nice person nor a people person nor customer-friendly. Speaking from personal experiences with him and his hosting.

I've setup the 4 test sites for 2.0 and 2.1 for TP 1.6.7 and 2.0.0. Will play with them as time allows along with getting back to updating the Crip Zone themes. Been noticing some issues with the 2.0 versions since 2.0.16 was introduced. Unfortunately, there's 70+ themes to update...

I just noticed that Enter and Shift+Enter no longer works in the shoutbox. Found out on one of my test sites for v1.6.7 and 2.0.0 on smd 2.0.17 and 2.1.
