I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

He's also been making a couple of themes for people lately. Like Oldiesmann's comic book forum.

Just installed the theme 'Ambassador by, Crip' in case Skhilled needs to take a look at it on a live site as he works to update the theme.  :azn:

I already have a test site for Jeff's themes for 2.0.x:

https://skhilled.com/smftest/index.php

When i'm ready to start on updating a new one I install it there. You can still test the old ones to see if there are any bugs that need fixing. Then those can be fixed and uploaded to the downloads. Btw, I'm considering using TP's downloads since the site already uses it and needs to be updated to TP 1.6.3.

Through the years I've never really devoted much time at all to the TP downloads feature, but all indications are that it works well, it should be worth a try. Maybe Mick would have some good insight into how good it would be for your purposes.

Think you'll find that was me actually.  :whistle1: https://www.archiefans.com/

You're perhaps thinking of LandyVlad's comic forum.

TP downloads should work fine for the purpose.  I did have some themes displayed on Test Site Three at some point, but have them turned off atm. I could turn it on again so you'll get an idea.

You will have to add thumbnails to make them stand out, and obviously links to relevant demos etc, but yes it should be ok.  Once you get going.

LOL, probably so. LOL

I know TP will work. Maxx had removed it and installed SP. After he passed on, I reinstalled it.TP was Jeff's choice of portals. :)

Yep, I remember asking maxx at the time why he removed TP from Jeff's site, and the reply was, it kept erroring out there was a problem with TP apparently, and it doesn't work.   What it came down to was he'd gone off on one over at TP support, didn't like the response he got and fled to another portal, I think SP.  Then it happened again, and changed portals again.  There's a reoccurring pattern here. lol..

As for TP being Jeff's choice of portal, absolutely, that's why he was on our team and is still in the TP credits.    I really miss having chats with Jeff.

Cool home page image. But you're getting a ton of errors with this theme relating to that error page that keeps popping up. Even if you're not on that page and you just refresh any page the error shows, sometimes up to 10 errors at a time. I have no idea what's causing it.
