Sorry for the down time.
« on: August 02, 2008, 12:07:56 PM »
Sorry for the down time folks.

Our servers went off line yesterday evening and Frank Doud, the fellow who runs the server for us, was not available to take care of the issue. Unfortunately he had a serious family emergency that kept him away until this morning.

Here's a copy of the email he sent me a short time ago.
Our thoughts and prayers and with Frank and his family.

Hi Ken,

I are sorry for the downtime on your sites. Normally when the server has problems the problems are correct within  a matter of minutes. The current downtime has been in the hours timeframe.

This extra downtime has been caused by my lack of being avaliable to work out the issues with our server managment company. My personal issues at the time were of a personal nature and had involved my oldest son whom was involed in a very tragic accident while on a bussiness trip in the UK. I at this point in time am working with the server company to fix the apache issue. Your sites should be up and running very soon.
