Title: Logitech M510 Mouse
Post by: Skhilled on May 29, 2017, 05:20:59 AM
Been having problems with my mouse...after about 5 years of usage! LOL I'm surprised it lasted this long. The tracking was way off and the pointer would either not move or would jump around the page. At first, I thought someone else was controlling the mouse! LOL

So, I just went out and got this one for $20! So far, it works like a charm and has a nicer feel to it!

That's a nice mouse.

For the past few years I've been using Logitech's model #317 with the skin colors like the one below... like it a lot.
Before that I had used a track-ball like in the second image, but had to stop because it caused me to develop carpal tunnel.

I used to have one of those when they first came out cause i was really into gaming back then. But, as you said, I started getting carpal tunnel and realized that I really didn't need it and stopped using it. Sadly, there have been a lot of complaints about Logitech mice not working well or lasting over a year or so later. I hope this one will last me. I did get a 2 year additional warrant for only $2 which sounded like a good deal!

Good move on the additional warranty.
Gaming was the reason for me using the track ball, it worked great for that.

OK, started getting the same issues again with the new mouse! But, I've found a fix!

Delete anything named "HID-complaint" in the drivers and let it install new drivers. So far, it's good!
