I've always wanted to do this. I have food grade containers I've purchased from a restaurant supply store for large amounts of sugar, etc. that I buy from Sam's Club in bulk. I have some smaller ones that I'm not using so this would work nicely!

I love brown sugar, but it's off my menu.

It will save me money cause I tend to keep molasses around for quite awhile. LOL

I can remember when I was a kid, 8-10 years old, watching as a crew ran our cane through a mill and then cooking the juice to make syrup. They had a mule tethered to the mill, walking in a circle, to squeeze out the juice from the stalks of cane.
