Thanks for testing this one Ken, looks like I did the edits ok, except I missed one, at the top of the credits page.  :oops!

I've fixed that on my zip, so if we use this version for public beta release it'll be sorted.

Ever got lost reading a topic, wondering who is the author again? This mod will help you. It shows (OP) next to the original author, on replies made by him/her in the topic.

I've considered installing this many times... finally did it.  laughing7

I've just found a bug with the TP Recent Topics block. The "FamilyForum Documentation & Help board is set so it is not viewable to guests. However, that block is viewable to guests and they can see those topics and posts in that block. SMF Forum Stats doesn't show this, as it should, but the Recent Topics block does...

EDIT: And yes...guests can click it and see the board...

Did you look in the error log to see if those current errors have anything to do with this issue? I just installed the latest version of TP1.2R2, so there may be problems with that.
... allvip has now pulled that version and posted a code edit, I'll do that edit soon.

Yup, they are related to this very topic. A much bigger issues is if the Admin board can be seen... I'll post a test topic there...

EDIT: Nope, can't see it as a guest.

Try it now.  That board was set to show to guest, so can't see how it's a TP problem.

EDIT:  Just noticed in the shoutbox, Steve said he's been on the sauce again, that would explain it.   :rofl2

I just checked and see where I went wrong...

The main board "FamilyForum Documentation & Help" is set to not allow guests. However, it's child boards are set to allow guests. Strange, shouldn't the the child boards mimic the parent as far as that goes? That would make more sense, I would think. I think I've noticed this before but never truly realized exactly what until now...

LMAO! Actually, I am drinking a beer right now!  :funny:

When I first checked, I only checked the parent board cause it makes no sense that the child should be seen if the parent does not allow it. But children never listen anyhow. LOL

Trying to remember the original access permissions scheme here...  :idiot2:
Don't remember for sure, but I think that the idea was to keep anyone from reading/posting anywhere except the child boards.
In any case, those would have been set in my early days with SMF/TP and likely never revisited.

Feel free to make any changes that you think are needed.  :)
