She always has been sooo sexy and still is, I thought she was great with Nick, but in the end, he had to go. :'(
Her problem is being bipolar and that's a really hard thing to deal with. Your attitude goes from one extreme to the other instantly and you'll never know when it's going to happen. I've been around people like that. It takes a very special person to be able to deal with it. The things they say will make you want to hurt them but they have no control over it. Her singing is what helps her get through it and meds.
I used to wonder why her relationships and marriages never worked out and then I finally started thinking something had to be wrong with her and not the men she was dealing with. That was years ago, then last year or so she finally came out with it in an interview.
And, coming out with a diagnosis like can be both painful and liberating but it's also helpful to others who may be suffering from the same condition.
I don't know...I still might like to take a shot at it. LMAO

Carol Kaye about her famous guitar licks for Sam Cooke, Beach Boys and moreStudio legend Carol Kaye gives Gene Simmons a lesson on bassCAROL KAYECarol Kaye - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Kaye)
Carol Kaye (nee Smith,[1] born March 24, 1935)[2] is an American musician. She is one of the most prolific recorded bass guitarists in rock and pop music, playing on an estimated 10,000 recordings in a career spanning over 50 years.[3]
Kaye began playing guitar in her early teens and after some time as a guitar teacher, began to perform regularly on the Los Angeles jazz and big band circuit. She started session work in 1957, and through a connection at Gold Star Studios began working for producers Phil Spector and Brian Wilson. After a bassist failed to turn up to a session in 1963, she switched to that instrument, quickly making a name for herself as one of the most in-demand session players of the 1960s, playing on numerous hits. She moved into playing on film soundtracks in the late 1960s, particularly for Quincy Jones and Lalo Schifrin, and began to release a series of tutoring books such as How To Play The Electric Bass. Kaye became less active towards the end of the 1970s, but has continued her career and attracted praise from other musicians.
During the peak of her years of session work, she became part of a stable of Los Angeles-based musicians which went by a variety of informal names, but has since become known as "The Wrecking Crew". Her work with the group led to her prominent role in the eponymous 2008 documentary film.

Cool, but I thought it sounded like more of a progressive jazz tune than metal. The background music sounded metal, tho.

Going To California-John Paul Jones 2000John Richard Baldwin, better known by his stage name John Paul Jones, is an English musician and record producer who was the bassist and keyboardist for the rock band Led Zeppelin. Prior to forming the band with Jimmy Page in 1968, he was a session musician and arranger.
A lot of people don't realize that a lot of the British musicians you know were classically trained and sometimes you can hear it in their music. Take Queen for example, a lot of their music you can hear classic influences in it. In Led Zeppelin's music, you can hear blues, rock, country, and classical. Just listen to various songs by them. ;)

Might start watching it again this evening... currently I'm watching the Firefly (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303461/) TV series, I have the box-set with all of the episodes and I've binge watched it several times through the years. Don't know if this particular set is available any more, it has some beautiful artwork on the case and on the DVD covers. If my memory permits I'll post up a pix for the case and covers and DVDs later this evening.
... my memory was already for $hit and these past few weeks it is getting worse. Kay has to keep an eye on me more and more as time goes on, I'm thankful for her help and guidance. Without her I would be in a world of trouble.
Thank you, Kay! :)
