Content Management System Mod
« on: January 30, 2010, 08:00:19 AM »
This looks interesting. Basically, you can make pages and a home page like the Page mod or TP but no blocks. I think I'll give it a test run.

After installing this: I lost access to a few mods...Battle, Shop, Arcade, etc. The menu buttons for them disappeared although they still showed in admin. I also could not find any admin for this mod, however...strange. Might have needed a code check but I doubt it due to this bit in the topic at SMF.org:

Quote
Read Before Using

The mod will only work (and is supported) on Apache with mod_rewrite.

The mod will NOT work in combination with other mods that make custom .htaccess files, like Pretty URLs, SimpleSEF, portals, etc.

Saw it before but didn't try it.

It looks like it may only work with a plain vanilla SMF... it's not liking several other mods.

That's what I'm thinking. It certainly won't work with TP or any other portal.
