I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

I never used either MS browsers much except for testing cause of the many exploit issues.

I agree about the image viewer...I use paint.net for viewing/editing images or use Irfanview.

Some of my DAW's and Amp sims use IE for the GUI, so they won't work properly on other browsers, hence why IE is default.

Regarding the image viewer, I only use it for viewing images, I have Photoshop and Canon's Digital Photo Pro for editing.  The old win 7 viewer is great and I like the way you can zoom in on images with ease.  I also made that default, so all my images open in that.  Those that upgraded to win 10 are lucky enough to still have that old image viewer, those that clean installed windows 10 haven't got it unfortunately.

So, are we saying that the bats caused the 'null' issue? I just this morning turned them off and reset the default theme to 'Outline'.

And now the 'null' isn't showing in my post preview!  shocked003
Gonna fiddle with it a little to make sure about the bats being the cause... I had already posted on SMF.

Ken, it's not a SMF issue and it's Underdog's mod. I'll post a report on it there.

Mick, try irfanview...it works great and you can do batch processing like changing all images to a certain size that are in a folder...been using it long before Win 10.

I don't really need it Steve.  I used it years ago, but moved on to what I have now. ;)

IrfanView is my all time favorite, been using it for years now.

I've tried a lot of different programs and utilities, including some of the paid ones and always place IrfanView at the very top of my list. Currently my tool bag includes;  IrfanView, paint.net, Paint and Image Resizer for Windows. Resizer is handy if there's only one image and all it needs is to change size.

It might do, although I find it difficult to see how it can view a image any better tbh.  Don't get me wrong, it's superb for what it costs (free). ;)

That all said, it is obviously better than the Photos app that comes with windows 10, hence why I switched back to the old win 7 photo viewer

I've just noticed another issue with this. If you create a topic or post and save it then use the little edit icon on the right to edit it (not the "Modify" link at the top right) it will add the "null" to the end of your post and all can see it. And you cannot see it if you try to re-edit it that way while editing it but it will not go away...unless you use "Modify".

Yes, it is still happening on Preview but it was showing in my last post but isn't now. I'll try to recreate it now.

Edit: Testing...

It is not doing it now...

Steve, might be because Ken's uninstalled the snowflakes mod. ;)
