I love taking macro shots...photos of things very up close. So, I've decided to post a few of them. The things is that some of them do not look the same as they do in a regular shot. See if if can guess what this is. It is an ordinary common household item.

Click on it then expand it to see it as it was taken to see the entire image.

After everyone guesses I'll post shot so you can see what it really is. :hah:

At first glance my thought was a finger, or thumb print but after looking for a while I'm not so sure. Maybe a paper towel?

Hmmm, paper towel is a good answer only because of the texture but the color would be all wrong. I've never seen paper towels that color before!!!

EDIT: I started to put the regular photo in a spoiler tag in the first post but decided to wait...

And besides, paper towels are not waterproof. Water would not bead on it and would be absorbed into it immediately.

Very close on the texture, Kay. It is a plastic material.
