I've never tried plant-based foods yet simply because the jury is still out on whether there are any bad effects from eating it. Scientists are still undetermined about it and until they say so I'll hold off until then.

EDIT: If I remember, there were racial issues with Cracker Barrel some years ago... Ha! Found some:
