Orange Teriyaki Salmon

(1/1)

Skhilled:
From Cooking Light Magazine:

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons orange juice

2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic or use fresh (but will be a tad stronger)

2 teaspoons bottled ground fresh ginger or use fresh (but will be a tad stronger)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Combine first 6 ingredients in an 8-inch square baking dish, stirring with a whisk. Add fish to baking dish; spoon sauce over fish.

Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting occasionally with the sauce.

Tips:

I've cooked this in a Cameron's stovetop smoker. It turned out awesome!!! Nice and smokey with that sweet and sour glaze.

I used fresh ginger and fresh garlic instead of the bottled stuff.

I also only used half of the sauce on the fish and reduce the other half by half or until it was thick and glazed. Then when the fish was done I brushed the the glaze over the smoked fish. It was the best fish I ever had!
