What's Your Favourite Video Game?

Saw this topic over on SMF and it inspired me to start one here! laughing7

For me it started very early in the video game cycle because my children were growing up in the 60's and 70's and we tried it all, including the old commodore game console and lots of other stuff that I've forgotten. We/me really loved the Arcades with all those wild dedicated game consuls.

So anyways, in recent years I've been into mostly PC gaming and here are some of my faves... what are yours?
Serious Sam, both the original an SS 2
CoD
Far Cry, the original... just recently started playing it all over again, have not played any of the later releases.

I started playing games on the Atari 2600 and playing games on the arcades.

I've played all of those games and still have them somewhere. I also still have a lot of the old shareware games on floppies and on my drive somewhere and still play them. You need an emulator like DOSBox to play them.

As far as the C64 goes, I still play those games too. My favs are Jumpman Jack and Hunt The Wumpus. LOL You can get games for the C64 and Amiga here:

Of course, there's the newer games most of them I've been downloading on the Playstation 3 and the Wii and playing them there...including older ones like Donkey Kong, Doom, Splinter Cell (one of my favs!)etc. And I just heard about the new FarCry: Primal I might get for the PC.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that lately I've been playing a lot of Hidden Object games lately. LOL
