Beware of the dreaded double-click!
« on: June 13, 2008, 06:18:38 PM »
I mostly use FileZilla to do file work on Our FamilyForum website and today while trying to upload some game files our whole site became lost for a short time.
You see, me has this really bad habit... most of the time when opening folders or directories on the server I use the double-click method and that causes little problems from time to time, like changing a file name when not intending to do that.

Well this time when double-clicking the whole site disappeared!
Seems that instead of the forum folder getting opened up it got moved into another folder, so then I had to search through all those other folders until the forum could be found and moved back to where it belonged.
Guess I need to give myself one of these.   :stoges:
