It may be released as early as today...if we all agree on it. ;)

I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Mistakes We Make!
... looking back at past decisions and actions can sometimes be painful!

Back in '05, when we first moved into this 200+ year old house we had some cash to use on projects that we hoped would last for the future of our stay here. Because the cash available wasn't unlimited I had to weight the cost and any other concerns about any given project. One such project/concern was and is power, so I researched solar power options along with backup generators and in the end decided that other projects were more important.

But, I made a mistake on the backup generator. My take on it then was that if we lost power long enough so that everything in our freezer and refrigerator was lost it would only add up to $2-300, so at that rate it would take years to recover the cost of a backup generator. Well, the cost recovery part is true, but it doesn't take into account the aggravation, irritation and stress of being without power for days at a time. We've just had a three day outage caused by downed trees from the storms related to Zeta and it has been a miserable experience.

The power just came back on about an hour ago, but we will still be cleaning up for the rest of today and likely a good portion of tomorrow.

And... once again I'll mulling over the pros and cons of backup power.  laughing7

Kind of like backing up your site and forgetting. I hate when I do that and then make a mistake. LOL
