I'm not sure if I could spare that much room in my fridge all of that at one time. So, I'd probably half it.

I do have a couple of those 6qt. containers like that as well as some others in different sizes and I love them! I have two 22qt/20L ones. I buy 25lb. bags of sugar and flour and store them in it. I've bought a scoop for each. The others we use for storing chocolates and other baking items. They are airtight and sturdy. You can buy them at most restaurant supply stores and they're pretty cheap.

I've also been considering using my bread making more often. It tends to over bake the bread but they are great for mixing, kneading, and rising. All you have to do is shape it and pop it in the oven. You can use your fav bread, rolls, or even pizza recipes.

Here's something I've found on Indestructibles.com which is a great site, btw!

If you search for "Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day" you'll find a lot of sites with info about this to get you started. I think I'll get the book anyways.

I'm also looking at two other books which I'll post about in other topics. ;)

Online shopping was way up this year, so they've struggled to keep pace, hiring new people wit little to no experience... it's not surprising that there have been issues.

Sorry for your troubles Steve.

Yeah, but never had problems when I was a Prime member. Now I had 3 separate problems...still waiting on my electronics. And one of the books had a torn cover.

I just bought two 3 qt containers for the dough with lids. Will pick them up Wed morn. The book's recipes are for a 6 qt but that is a tad large for my fridge so I'll just halve the recipe.

Excellent!

Also picked up the containers. The lids are very air-tight sealed!

I've just started reading this book and it is VERY informative! It first explains what the book is about and the steps it takes to mix and bake your breads. It then goes on to the types of ingredients you can use, the equipment you'll be using and a variety of tips to help make your breads successful. It does all of this BEFORE it shows you how to mix and bake your first loaf. Kind of hard to go wrong using this approach. ;)

Kay has been looking through hers, don't know if she is going to start on any of the breads, but she's into this kind of cooking so it won't be surprising if she dose.
