I like it. Dark themes are not my first choice, but I like the crisp, clean lines.

Kay's Knees
« on: October 29, 2021, 02:35:28 PM »
Kay had her knee(1) replacement surgery this morning and they have her up doing walking therapy already. She is trying to get them to release her to come home this afternoon.  laughing7

Here are a couple of pics that DIL Mindi sent to me a short time after Kay was placed in a recovery room.

Kay is home now, and resting. Her pain meds are taking the edge off, but it's still very painful for her so needless to say, she's not moving around very much.

Poor thing! She certainly doesn't look happy in the pics. :(

I hope she gets well soon. :)

She continues to improve a little each day, she still has lots of pain but her meds help with that. Now it's down to the daily exercises which includes lots of walking.

Kay continues to improve each day.
Today was staples removing day and while we were there for that her surgeon popped in to see how she was progressing.

Kay is doing really good now, she walks easily with little too no pain now so her complaints are few. And, she is happy that she can stand and walk around in her kitchen to do Christmas dinner without having to stop because of the pain.
